RAYTECH DIAMOND LAPS Designed expressly for the lapidary field, these precision diamond laps are made with a high quality man-made diamond using single, whole crystals. The diamond is bonded to a solid aluminum base ground flat and parallel to exacting specifications. Laps come with standard 1/2" arbor hole. Order diamond laps with the standard smooth surface, Dimafast P, or with the textured, channeled surface of the Dimafast F. The Dimafast F textured surface is comprised of a myriad of islands packed with diamond crystals. These cutting islands are surrounded by a maze of canals which flush the cuttings away and keep the islands clean. The channeled construction provides exceptionally fast cutting action while improving coolant flow and swarf removal.
