GALAXY DIAMOND GRINDING WHEELS

Galaxy diamond grinding wheels give you the fast, cool cutting efficiency of diamonds, plus a smooth, tru-running surface that never needs dressing.  The diamonds are held on a heavy steel ring by an extremely hard, heat treated nickel alloy plating for durability and fast, cool cutting. They require only enough water to get them wet.  Galaxy wheels have a 1 inch arbor hole.  THESE ARE NO LONGER SUPPLIED WITH BUSHINGS.  If your cabber requires bushings, save bushings from old wheels.  If you need to order bushings, Galaxy 2", 4", and 6" wheels take one 1" thick bushing.  7 5/8" Galaxy wheels take two 3/4" thick bushings.

CRYSTALRING STANDARD WHEELS

This electroplated wheel features a uniform, continuous diamond coating.  It is designed to run on conventional cabochon units at an operating speed of 1725 rpm.  The 1 inch arbor hole is bushed to 3/4" and 5/8".

DIAMONDBACK WHEELS

This aggressive diamond wheel is designed with an interrupted cutting surface which delivers a definite metallic uplift.  It contains one third more diamond than the standard Crystalring wheel, producing a longer lasting wheel with a higher cutting rate.  The 1" arbor hall is bushed to 3/4", 5/8", and 1/2".

TURBINE WHEELS

This wheel has a unique sawtoothed profile.  As the crests wear, sharp, fresh diamond is exposed, making it one of the fastest roughing wheels available for preforming agate, jasper, and other hard stones.  The 1" arbor hole is bushed to 3/4", 5/8", and 1/2".  Recommended operating speed is 1500 to 2000 rpm.

INLAND SINTERED DIAMOND WHEELS

Professional Grade Wheels for Cabbing Machines.  When you've got to make more cabs than you can count, it's time to go Sintered.  The longest lasting wheels on the market today, sintered wheels will also cut just as aggressively on the last cab as the first.  Sintered diamond wheels will outlast single layer wheels (such as brazed and electroplated wheels) many times over!

The Key features of these fabulous wheels are:

a. Full 3/16" (5mm) deep diamond matrix exposes new cutting points as the wheels are used.

  b. Sintered wheels can be dressed to expose additional crystals for a more agressive cut, but dressing is not always needed if  you  follow a "side to side" pattern when grinding to ensure even wear.

 c. Aluminum cores reduce the wheels weight to 7.5 lbs.

 d. Dynamic balancing at the factory ensures concentricity  for  smooth and quiet grinding.

 

Generally order one grit size coarser for sintered diamond tools  as compared to plated or brazed parts.

 Sintered Diamond Wheels are generally made to order. Please  allow at least two weeks for shipment of these wheels.
